An exhibition on Adoor and his films, ‘Adoor in Frames’ has been inaugurated at Kairali Theatre. It depicts the reverberations of his intellect as a film maker and the resonances of his mind as an artist. A series of portrayals of Adoor as a complete artist has been exhibited in the show.

“Adoor GopalaKrishanan has not only created great cinema, but great audience too. He gave a new cinematic vocabulary to Malayalam Films”, Shashi Tharoor said in his inaugural address. Veterans, actor Madhu, who played the protagonist of Adoor’s first feature film, Swayamvaram, gave the felicitation speech.
In reply Adoor thanked IFFK for organizing the honorary exhibition. Commenting about his film making, he said,”I always wanted to give my viewers food for a good thought process through my films”.
Sabu Pravadas is the curator for the exhibition and Bony Thomas is the artist behind the drawings. The exhibition will continue throughout the festival.
