Director : Fernanda Pessoa / Brazil / 2017 / Colour / 80 / Spanish,English
I t performs a historical review of the military dictatorship in Brazil(1964-1985), with emphasis in the 1970s. Images
and sounds from a section of films which belong to the ‘pornochanchanda’ genre, a kind of erotic comedy are used.
Such films were prevalent during the period and its viewership was huge. This documentary film tries to analyse a few subjects that are rarely addressed about the period including the country’s fast economic growth with all sorts of inequalities.
