Director : Cecilia Atán,Valeria Pivato/Argentina|Chile/78/Spanish/2017
The Bride of the Desert is the story of Teresa, a 54-year-old woman who works as a domestic employee in a family home in Buenos Aires. For decades he has taken refuge in the routine of his tasks but now, after the family decision to sell the house and after years of service, he is adrift. Without alternatives, he accepts a new job in the province of San Juan. Little friend of the trips leaves behind the city and its small safe world, to surrender without suspecting it, to the will of the unpredictable. In her first stop, the Sanctuary of the Difunta Correa, Teresa loses the bag in which she carries her only belongings. The unexpected accident will take her to cross the desert cuyano next to an unknown, the Gringo, its new companion of search. This hawker with his rickety pickup truck will be trimmed over the barren landscape as a threatening and attractive option. As the journey progresses and together they penetrate the different universes, this silent and opaque woman will slowly dye her color and life.
