Synopsis This is a story based on the lives of several people living on the borders of Kerala and Tamilnadu. It features the life of a resident Rangasamy. He is one among the several people who has no land for farming and travels to the neighbouring Spice plantation for survival. His biggest dream is to win a piece of land and do farming by himself with great dignity. Just as he and his wife work several years to save some money, they lose the entire wealth in the most unexpected manner. In a turn of fate Rangasamy is jailed with few other innocent people and when he returns, like many sons of the soil, he becomes a labourer in his own land. This is based on several true stories in the neighborhood, this is a film shot with villagers who practically have no formal training in acting.
