Synopsis
Yuli is the nickname of Carlos Acosta, given by his father, Pedro. Yuli flees all kinds of discipline and education. Knowing the talents of Yuli, Pedro forces him to attend Cuba’s National Dance School. After initial reluctance, Yuli ends up being captivated by the world of dance. He emerges as one of the best dancers of his generation, breaking taboos, becoming the first black artist to dance Romeo in the Royal Ballet in London.
